[Note: This document is available in English only.]

The main purpose of the ISPPPI is to ensure that organizations and Persons involved in anti-doping in sport apply appropriate, sufficient and effective privacy protections to Personal Data that they process.

WADA recognizes the importance of the privacy rights of Persons that are subject to anti-doping programs and how these rights are affected by rapid technological advancements and the enactment of new laws to regulate personal data; such as, the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation. Therefore, in its commitment to ensure the appropriate collection, processing, transfer and storage of Personal Data, WADA provides this revised version of the ISPPPI for your review.

This review process is being overseen by WADA’s Legal Department. A final draft will be developed for circulation to WADA’s Executive Committee and Foundation Board on 30 April prior to being presented to the Executive Committee for approval on 16 May 2018.
