Montreal, 27 November 2017
Dear Colleagues,
The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to announce that online registration is now open for the 14th edition of the Agency’s Annual Symposium taking place from 21-23 March 2018 at the SwissTech Convention Center (STCC) in Lausanne, Switzerland. For those interested in attending, please take note that registration must be completed by 26 February 2018.
WADA's 2018 Annual Symposium will once again gather the global anti-doping community for three days of presentations, interviews, panel discussions, practical workshops and networking sessions. Athlete representatives, International Federations, government representatives, National Anti-Doping Organizations, Major Event Organizers, WADA-accredited laboratories and Athlete Passport Management units; as well as, media and other stakeholders, are invited to gather under the theme "Shaping the Future of Clean Sport".
This year's agenda will focus on how the anti-doping community can best shape its future and that of clean athletes –- whether that be by learning from the doping scandals of the past two years; through technology and innovation; by considering new financing models; and, through a host of other means.
Those of you who attended the 2017 Annual Symposium should have already received an invitation to register via an automated registration system, which contains a registration link. However, if not, and for newcomers, please register on the Symposium Website by 26 February 2018.
On the website, participants have access to the draft Agenda and other useful information; including, how to register and how to book your hotel accommodations.
WADA looks forward to welcoming you all in March, in Lausanne, for what promises to be, fruitful discussions that will lead to positive outcomes for clean sport.
Best regards,
World Anti-Doping Agency |
