SECOND WADA GLOBAL EDUCATION CONFERENCE TO BE HELD IN OCTOBER 2018

Dear Colleagues,

The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) is pleased to inform you that the China Anti-Doping Agency will host the Second WADA Global Education Conference (Conference) from 24 - 25 October 2018 in Beijing, China, in partnership with the United States Anti-Doping Agency.

Under the theme of Innovation, Harmonization and Cooperation, the Conference will offer participants the opportunity to examine developments and achievements since the first Conference in 2015; updates in social science research; current education trends; and, the draft International Standard for Education and Information. Participants will also have the opportunity to take part in practical working sessions, allowing them to interact and learn from their colleagues.

The Conference is designed for practitioners from National and Regional Anti-Doping Organizations, International Federations, Major Event Organizations, researchers and other stakeholders working and advocating for the protection of clean sport through anti-doping education.

Please note that further details, including a draft agenda and logistical information will be provided in the coming months.

It is expected that official registration will open in May 2018; until then, please save the date!
