The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) announces the publication of the following Technical Document:
TD2018BAR - Blood Analytical Requirements for the Athlete Biological Passport (ABP).
The new TD2018BAR replaces the former TD2017BAR, which has been modified to introduce mandatory requirements for laboratories to report blood analyzer type and two additional blood variables (i.e., platelets and white blood cells) into the Anti-Doping Administration and Management System (ADAMS).
Please note that all WADA-accredited Laboratories and WADA-approved Laboratories for the ABP are required to implement this Technical Document in their procedures by 1 July 2018.
