Further to the invitation of the Hungarian National Anti-Doping Organization (HUNADO), representatives of Austrian, Croatian, Hungarian, Polish, Serbian, Slovakian, as well as Slovenian NADOs gathered on the 28th of May 2019 in Budapest, the Sport Capital of Europe 2019.
After having a fruitful conference on the day before along with WADA, Europol and Eurojust, NADO representatives from the CEE region resolved on the reestablishment of the Central European Anti-Doping Organization („CEADO”). Romanian Anti-Doping Agency took part in the meeting in its applicant status, representative from the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) was also invited as an observer.
CEADO as an expert group of regional NADOs decided to share its anti-doping knowledge, expertise and strengthen their common voice together in the interest of clean athletes. The group elected Mr Michael Cepic, CEO of NADA Austria as the chair of the board.
